Marina Cretich
Marina Cretich is a researcher of the National Research Council of Italy at the Institute of Chemistry of Molecular Recognition in Milano where she leads the projects on protein and peptide assays for diagnostics and biomarker discovery within the Analytical Microsystem Group. She is currently Project Manager of the H2020 FET-OPEN project INDEX (Integrated nanoparticle isolation and detection system for complete on-chip analysis of exosomes). Her current activities are focused on the development of new biochemical research methods in the microscale for diagnosis and monitoring, with a strong focus to system integration and technology development; ongoing projects include point of care devices for infectious diseases, microarrays for allergy profiling and new methods for extracellular vesicles analysis. She is author of more than 70 peer reviewed papers, 4 invited reviews, 8 chapters in books (h-index Scopus 22) and served as Editor of the books Peptide Microarrays 1st and 2nd editions, Methods in Molecular Biology Series. She holds the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor in Clinical Biochemistry.
